Jeff Rich “Sprouts”

Jeff is the wise elder we look to here at Camp Eureka. He has a master’s degree in special education and is a long time Sandpoint resident. His patience, care and knowledge in the garden, on the trails and around the camp fire effects us all. He runs Eureka Radio, the much loved daily wake up live music show every morning to get us out of bed and start the day.

Jeff Kenny

AKA “Chef Jeff”:

The food at Camp Eureka is awesome and it’s all due to our famous Chef Jeff. He makes a mean lasagna and an outrageous blueberry pancakes. The campers need lots of energy and his food not only tastes great, but it is all natural and good for them. You can find Jeff’s whole family at camp, his wife Connie helps in the kitchen and his two sons Eli and Sawyer are counselor and junior counselor respectively.

Azalee Bostroem

A recent graduate of Vassar and a trained teacher, Azalee teaches hip-hop dance, arts and crafts. She also brings vibrant energy to our beach time. She leads water games such as water polo, the log, and relays. As a trained lifeguard she emphasizes fun and safety.

Justin teaches games, gymnastics, and sports to first through eight grades. He has been deeply involved with Waldorf Education for the last eleven years and his studies include Spatial Dynamics with Jaimen McMillan and Peaceful Warrior Ways with Dan Millman. Here at camp he specializes in stage craft, self-defense, drumming, stomp routines, gymnastics, Capoeira, break dancing and cooperative group games and challenges and much much more.
