The Eureka Institute is a non-profit organization which aims to enhance the lives of our local community and its many welcome visitors by promoting consciousness, creativity, and leadership through incredibly diverse programming. Surrounded by abundant natural beauty, in the panhandle of north Idaho, we are inspired to cultivate all aspects of healthy living. We offer events and activities ranging from kayaking and mountain biking to art workshops and yoga retreats. There are music festivals and summer camps, as well as cooking series and gardening workshops. We celebrate the unique interests of the adventurous, as well as the introspective, by encouraging the growth of the individual and supporting interactive and collaborative group experiences. We aim to create programs that are entertaining and educational, while incorporating respect for our environment. We create experiences that come alive through the enjoyment and participation of people like you.

![]() Camp Eureka: July 22nd-28thCamp Eureka is an exciting children’s summer camp hosted annually. Summer games, activities and workshops are provided for children ages 8-17. We offer camping, hiking, biking, swimming, crafting and confidence-building programs. The children experience a summer camping experience here that lasts a lifetime. Join us for this years session. ![]() Second Annual Northwest YogaFest: August 3rd-5th 2012The Eureka Institute is honored to bring the 2nd Annual Northwest YogaFest to the panhandle of Idaho. With a diverse group of instructors from varying backgrounds and practices from all over the Northwest, in addition to several speakers and musicians, we offer you a captivating weekend of enrichment for the body, mind and spirit. ![]() Adventure Sports Camp: July 16th-20th & August 13th-17thThe Eureka Institute teams up with local non-profit and community groups to make this week-long adventure a memorable experience. Selkirk Outdoor Leadership & Education, Lake Pend Oreille Waterkeeper, Sandpoint Rock Gym, Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness and The Pend Oreille Pedalers partner with us as we explore the local area. ![]() Sandpoint SummerFest: July 13th-15thThe Sandpoint SummerFest is a weekend-long community music, arts and culture festival held every summer for the last 13 years. This event features local, regional and national bands with a variety of styles of music including bluegrass, reggae, rock, blues, hip-hop and jazz, as well as other performers, artists, craftsmen, vendors and entertainers. With a focus on "sustainability, local and handmade," we provide a venue for the community to celebrate and share its diversity and creativity. |
